" Always do right."- Mark Twain

By "Always do right" I think Mark Twain means always do the right thing.Even if we are being pressured to do something bad we need to do the right thing and say no. One example of doing the right thing is helping pick up someones books or papers if they dropped them. You don't need to know the person you just have to do the right. Another example of doing the right is not stealing. There was recently a case where three UCLA basketball players were arrested in China for stealing. They not only stole from one store they stole from three stores. The three players were terminated from the team and they will have to earn their way back. These three players did not do the right thing and suffered a consequence.

 "Kindness  is the essence of greatness."- Joseph B. Wirthlin I believe that Wirthlin's statement is true. When you are kind and caring to an individual you become a great person. One sees you differently when you are kind. They see that you are kind, caring, and respectful person rather than a person that is selfish and only cares about themselves. One example of kindness being an essence of greatness is giving up your seat for someone on the bus. If you see you someone is struggling to carry their items or is having trouble walking or standing you should be kind and offer them your seat. Another example of showing kindness is helping out the less fortunate. If you can afford something they can't like food or clothes be kind and give them some. It doesn't have to be new clothes or bought food it could be used clothes that is in good condition and a home made meal.

" My basic principle is that you don't make  decisions  because they are easy; you don't make them because they are cheap; you don't make them because they're popular ;  you make them  because  they're right .” -  Theodore  Hesburgh  (Former President of  Notre Dame) I agree with Theodore Hesburgh's statement. Every decision you make you have to do it for the right reasons. You cannot let others influence you into making a bad decision. I think this is a quote that everyone should always remember. An example for this quote is cheating on a test. It may be a popular thing to do and it can be the easy way if you did not study, but it's the wrong choice. It's better to not pass the test then to get credit for someone else's work.
