Student Success Statement

"What's right isn't always popular. What's popular isn't always right." -Albert Einstein
I agree with Albert Einstein statement. Although everyone is under the influence that what they're doing is the right thing because it's "cool", you should never do. You should do the things that might not be as recognized but you know that you are impacting someones life positively. An example of doing what is popular is drinking. Everyone has heard about drinking and that you have to drink to fit in. This is not true. One should not be influenced by what others do. An example of doing the right thing even though it is not recognized is cutting peoples hair. There was a story on the news about a man that would go to the park every Wednesday to got homeless peoples hair. The only payment was a hug.

After about 10 years working as a fireman he meets 17 year old Clarisse McClellan who makes him realize that his job is wrong. Also, over the Thanksgiving break I attended a Key Club event. In this event I helped out with the counting of how many toys were left over from last years toy drive. This year city council plans to give away 5,000 toys in their annual toy drive so I was asked help with inventory. It was a great experience and I would definatly do it again.
