Image result for karl g maeser word of honor

I agree with Maesar's quote because you must always keep your word of honor. When you tell someone that you will do something you must keep your word of honor and do what you said you would do. As a kid you never really keep your word of honor because you don't think much of it. For example, as a kid you tell your parents that you will clean your room, but you never do. As you get older then you start to realize how important it is to keep your word of honor. The more you keep your word, the more people will trust you.

Eight great Reasons to Tell the Truth- Barbara A. Lewis Telling the truth lets everyone know what really happened. There's a less chance of misunderstanding, confusion, or conflict Telling the truth protects innocent people from being blamed or punished Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened You usually get into less trouble for telling the truth other than for lying (and getting caught) Other people trust you more when you tell the truth You don't have to tell (and remember) more lies to keep your story straight You gain a reputation for being truthful- a trait most people value Telling the truth helps you to feel secure and peaceful inside I agree with Barbara's eight reasons.  "Kindness  is the essence of greatness."- Joseph B. Wirthlin I believe that Wirthlin's statement is true. When you are kind and caring to an individual you become a great person. One sees you differently when you are kind. They see that you are kind, caring, and respectful person rather than a person that is selfish and only cares about themselves. One example of kindness being an essence of greatness is giving up your seat for someone on the bus. If you see you someone is struggling to carry their items or is having trouble walking or standing you should be kind and offer them your seat. Another example of showing kindness is helping out the less fortunate. If you can afford something they can't like food or clothes be kind and give them some. It doesn't have to be new clothes or bought food it could be used clothes that is in good condition and a home made meal.

"Enthusiasm makes the difference"-Dr. Norman Vincent Peale I agree with Dr. Peale because it all depends on how you approach things. When you are excited to try something new you will be glad with the outcome.  When you are sad on trying something new you go with a bad attitude and and don't end up enjoying the experience. I believe this quote is a life lesson. You should always approach things with enthusiasm.
