"It's a great moment when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time." -Pam Knox
I agree with Knox's statement because when is a good person with manners they well help those that are struggling. For example, in the final conference game of Western Oregon vs. Central Washington player Sarah Tucholsky form Western Oregon scored her first ever home run in the second inning, second pitch. 3 of her teammates were also on base, so she did a 3 person homerun. Everyone was cheering until they noticed that Sarah was not running to home plate. It turns out that when running Sarah missed 1st base and she turned back to touch it, but when she turned something went wrong. Sarah had injured her knee and acl. She stayed on the floor holding on to first base. Her teammates wanted to help, but they weren't allowed to. This is when player Mallory Holtman and Liz Wallace stepped up at the right time and decided to carry Sarah around the plates having her left leg touch the bases.
