Memorial Day


  1.  Memorial day is a day to remember those that passed away and were in the military
  2. Memorial day is always the last Monday in May
  3. A few ways to show honor and respect on Memorial day is to wear a red poppy, display the US flag, and pray for the fallen.

  5. Memorial day was first called Decoration day. The name was changed in 1967.
  6. To show my honor for Memorial day I will do the things stated on number 3.
  7. I think Memorial day is a day everyone  should understand. When you hear the words Memorial day the first things you think of is having the day off school or work. Many don't understand that this day is for honoring those that have fallen. This day has to be recognize more at school. Maybe, school's can have veterens come and talk to the students about the dangers of being in the military.

Every decision you make you have to do it for the right reasons. You cannot let others influence you into making a bad decision. I think this is a quote that everyone should always remember. An example for this quote is cheating on a test. It may be a popular thing to do and it can be the easy way if you did not study, but it's the wrong choice. It's better to not pass the test then to get credit for someone else's work.
