If there is beauty in character,
there will be harmony in the home.
If there is harmony in the home, 
there will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation,
there will be peace in the world.

Conclusion:
If there is beauty in character,
there will be peace in the world.

I agree with the Chinese Proverb. If we all have good character then there will be peace in the world. There will be peace in the world because everyone will have the six pillars of character. The six pillars of character are trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness. honesty, and citizenship. In order to have all these 6 pillars you have to treat others the way you want to be treated. If this rule was followed by  everyone a lot of violence will end and there will be peace.

 "Kindness  is the essence of greatness."- Joseph B. Wirthlin I believe that Wirthlin's statement is true. When you are kind and caring to an individual you become a great person. One sees you differently when you are kind. They see that you are kind, caring, and respectful person rather than a person that is selfish and only cares about themselves. One example of kindness being an essence of greatness is giving up your seat for someone on the bus. If you see you someone is struggling to carry their items or is having trouble walking or standing you should be kind and offer them your seat. Another example of showing kindness is helping out the less fortunate. If you can afford something they can't like food or clothes be kind and give them some. It doesn't have to be new clothes or bought food it could be used clothes that is in good condition and a home made meal.

" My basic principle is that you don't make  decisions  because they are easy; you don't make them because they are cheap; you don't make them because they're popular ;  you make them  because  they're right .” -  Theodore  Hesburgh  (Former President of  Notre Dame) I agree with Theodore Hesburgh's statement. Every decision you make you have to do it for the right reasons. You cannot let others influence you into making a bad decision. I think this is a quote that everyone should always remember. An example for this quote is cheating on a test. It may be a popular thing to do and it can be the easy way if you did not study, but it's the wrong choice. It's better to not pass the test then to get credit for someone else's work.
