I agree with Dierdorf's statement. If you have good goals and try your best to achieve them, your goals will fall into place. By everything will fall into place I think Dierdorf means that everything will workout and turn out how you wanted. You will succeed only if you do the right thing. For example, if your goal is to make to a famous university you can make it if you strive to reach your goal and be honest by cheating on test or copying someone's work.
