Class Evaluation

  1. One thing I liked about this class is that we learned a lot about what is happening in the real world. We also learned what we can do in order to become a better person in this world.
  2. One thing I didn't like about the class was that we were not given separate time to eat breakfast in the classroom.
  3. One recommendation I have for improving this class is that there should be a separate time for eating breakfast in the classroom.
  4. Yes,  I am reading and writing in my Life Planning Goals Journal at least 5 times a day because I think it is very important to have goals and know how to reach them.
  5. Yes, I am committed to being a CTR person 24/7 because I think it is very important to be nice and treat others the way you want to be treated.
  6. One thing that I learned from this class that I will pass forward to teach someone else is how to be a CTR person.
  7. One thing I will always remember from this class is to always live above the line.

Student Success Statement

"Enthusiasm makes the difference"-Dr. Norman Vincent Peale I agree with Dr. Peale because it all depends on how you approach things. When you are excited to try something new you will be glad with the outcome.  When you are sad on trying something new you go with a bad attitude and and don't end up enjoying the experience. I believe this quote is a life lesson. You should always approach things with enthusiasm.

Student Success Statement

"Kindness  is the essence of greatness."- Joseph B. Wirthlin I believe that Wirthlin's statement is true. When you are kind and caring to an individual you become a great person. One sees you differently when you are kind. They see that you are kind, caring, and respectful person rather than a person that is selfish and only cares about themselves. One example of kindness being an essence of greatness is giving up your seat for someone on the bus. If you see you someone is struggling to carry their items or is having trouble walking or standing you should be kind and offer them your seat. Another example of showing kindness is helping out the less fortunate. If you can afford something they can't like food or clothes be kind and give them some. It doesn't have to be new clothes or bought food it could be used clothes that is in good condition and a home made meal.

Disasters

The event I choose to talk about is the California mudslides.  In January, a massive mudslide occurred killing over 21 people. This all started when the states largest fire occurred, the Thomas fire. The people that lived in the community of Montecito and Santa Barbra were effected by the mudslides. Some lost there home The U.S. forest fire is helping to clean up the mess and possibly get people back to their home The mudslides relate to me and others because some people might know someone or are related to someone that was in the mudslide.
